Eye Lift Surgery

Anyone can get benefits from an eye lift surgery. Even people in their twenties often request an eye lift surgery to improve their looks. Many of them have a so-called “puppy dog look”, with the outer eye corner situated lower than the inner corner. These patients usually want almond shaped eyes, like those of many famous movie stars. Individuals of Asian heritage often want their eyes widened.

During the surgical procedure, a tiny incision is made inside the eye lid to remove fat. Also, the eyeball is protected by a special shield to prevent eye damage. Since most of the eye lift surgery is performed on the outside, the risk of eye damage is quite low.
After the surgery, it takes around 10 days until you can be able to go out in public wearing some large sunglasses. There can be some swelling, which can be treated with massages. Local anesthesia is used during the procedure, so you won’t feel anything. The most painful part is usually when the stitches are being removed; however, some surgeons have a special way of pacing them so that the removal is less painful.
What about prices? An eye lift surgery costs around $1800, not including anesthesia and hospital fees.
