ICL= implantable contact lens/ inttraocular contact lens. usually only local anesthesia is needed for this procedure. the pupil is fully dilated, that’s why u can’t really see the pupil

in this clip the doc is inserting the lens and pushing all four corners beneath the iris. he also injected some solution which he removes at the end. this way, when the eye goes back to normal, the iris tissue is on top of the implanted lens.
It’s called the ICL… Sort of contact lenses implant… Instead of using Contact lenses on the surface, the doctors implanted the specially designed contact lenses inside the eye by cutting thru’ a hole, & slowly inserting the contact lenses… It way too expensive… I heard it’s abt US$3000…
what is this surgery? i don’t get it =o cuz at first the perosn didn’t have any pupils!!
