Laser Eye Surgery

I had my eyes done not to wear glasses any more. The entire surgery has been taped. This is how it is done on one eye (only half of the movie but you get to see all of how it happens).

@hxasmirl There are other options to stop wearing glases, lenses to name one.
i would really like to have an eye surgery for my bad vision. i feel it seems so impersonal to talk to people while having glasses on. its like a wall between the people speaking.
got mine done in january of this yr.
my 1st eye hurt, but I think it was psychosomatic pain. I was really scared/nervous, pacing the hospital floor like a nut. when the doc did my other eye, I was expecting it to hurt but barely felt pressure.
Anyhoo, I now have 20/20 vision, no night vision? problems, and just stopped taking drops for dry eyes.
@MsLipgloss13 Nothing, except the white little pads, they are annoying.
@Xx25BeasT96xX You see immediately, but blurry. Within the hour it sharpens quite well and the same evening you’re watching TV like never before.
When does your sight return?
when im older i will get one of these too but tell be what did you feel??
@kiokagasaki Nothing
@SugarIcy No
how’s it feel in your eye when u get the surgery?
does it hurt ?
I done this surgery few weeks ago. I recommend everyone who can afford to do it too cause it’s worth !! the first 4 hours after the operation were extremely painfull, after that I could see verry well.
@VGAepic Yep to avoid browses that would get loose during the intervention to land under the flap wreaking havoc and dropping bacteria and generating infections.
TAPE?!
Ouch! I’m not grosed out by this, but I can’t have anything like that touch me yer, NEVER xD
woah i cant believe they did this to my eye Lol i had laser surgery recently, wow dats amazing how they do it
Risky not for me !
@SmileyDude909 Thanks. But on the movie they are not looking at their best, all red from the medication and fidging on them. I’ll see if I can post a closeup picture of them in normal condition (and upright).
@254Wacolion I am not a surgeon, just the guy whose eye you see in the movie. You need to address such complex questions to an eye surgeon.
(PS, posting teh same message six times will not get it approved faster).
He has nice eyes…
Ok so i have a? question. I was born with esotropia in my right eye. I’ve worn eye patches when I was littlle and that didn’t help. I got muscle eye surgery last year and I thought that was going to help. Another thing is that I have bad vision so when I wear my glasses or contacts they get straight, so my question is, if get laser eye surgery would my eyes get straight or will they stay crossed?
Good video by the way good music

@helipaddler
A lot, too many to write here in less than 500 characters.
Ask you surgeon he has the whole list. Mine made me sign a disclaimer that says I was aware of all risks and accepted to take them on my own responsibility.
I was also shown a very long presentation of all that can go wrong with stats etcetera.
I only had dry eyes in the first half year and it went better over the second half. Now it is almost perfect.
