Do you have to be a certain age to have eye surgery?
I’ve been wanting to have my eyes corrected for a long time now. I really hate wearing glasses and my eyes get worse every time I go back to the eye doctor. Are their any other things that will correct my eyes if eye surgery isn’t an option?

You either have to get surgery or try contacts

Have you ever had contacts , if you haven’t I advise contacts lenses , you can even get the colored ones , oooh la la ;) but if your the lazy one to wake up in the morning to put on contacts , then never mind. ithink you have to be 18 and older to get we surgery by yourself , but if your not then you need an adults consent , it’s the law . my grandma got here’s like 9 months ago , it’s great , she got her eyes fixed , and she can see :) she did have to wear a eye patch with holes in the middle for 3 days ithink , and she had to be very careful , and couldn’t really move or else it will bleed. she’s 72 . you have to be sure , cause there will be side effects , responsibities , and worse death if something happens during surgery . but my grandma picked a nice hospital , they gave her a rose , sunglasses , and a cd guide . GOODLUCK! hope this helped ^-^
no dr will even touch you until you are at least 18 and most will not do it until you are at least 21 since your eyes are not stable until sometime between 18-21.
Your vision has to have stabilized, which typically happens in your early 20s. There’s also a legal age minimum, but your eyes probably won’t have stabilized by then.
